Challenge To the Western Dominated World Order: How Real Is It?

The United Service Institution of India (USI) continues its tradition of fostering informed debate on global strategic affairs through its flagship series of high-level intellectual engagements. As part of this ongoing endeavour, USI is hosting a distinguished talk on 6 November 2025 by Prof Amit Gupta, Senior Advisor to the Forum of Federations, Ottawa. The session, titled “Challenge to the Western Dominated World Order: How Real Is It?”, will bring together scholars, practitioners and strategic thinkers to reflect on the shifting balance of global power and its implications for India and the wider international system. The event will feature an in-depth address by Prof Gupta, followed by an interactive Q&A moderated by the Director General, USI. Such conversations are central to USI’s mandate of enriching national strategic thought and contributing meaningfully to contemporary policy discourse.
