The United Service Institution of India was founded in 1870 by a soldier scholar, Colonel (later Major General) Sir Charles MacGregor. The story of its growth is the story of the growth of the Indian Armed Forces. It was founded for ‘furtherance of interest and knowledge in the art, science and literature of the Defence Services.’

About Cyber Centre of Excellence


The Cyber Centre of Excellence is a collaborative effort of  the USI Centre for Emerging Technologies for Atma Nirbhar Bharat and CyberPeace Foundation, a grassroots-level non-profit organization of reputed international agencies,  armed  and  police  forces for more than two decades  across many countries.  Our Cyber Centre of Excellence has started path-breaking efforts in the fields of cyber policy research, cyber diplomacy, education, training and awareness and R&D for tools & products. It  aims to  foster  an  environment  where  cutting-edge research meets practical  applications,  addressing the ever-evolving challenges of the digital age.
