The United Service Institution of India was founded in 1870 by a soldier scholar, Colonel (later Major General) Sir Charles MacGregor. The story of its growth is the story of the growth of the Indian Armed Forces. It was founded for ‘furtherance of interest and knowledge in the art, science and literature of the Defence Services.’

PROJECT STUDY ON CHINA’S INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT IN NEPAL AND ITS SECURITY IMPLICATIONS FOR INDIA

The study conducted a net assessment tool of Base-Means-Capacity (BMC) analysis to understand China’s influence in Nepal. An examination of planned and executed infrastructure development in Nepal by China and India were undertaken. Finally, through SWOT analysis drivers were sketched out which helped in building scenarios for future. Finally various policy options were highlighted.
