The United Service Institution of India was founded in 1870 by a soldier scholar, Colonel (later Major General) Sir Charles MacGregor. The story of its growth is the story of the growth of the Indian Armed Forces. It was founded for ‘furtherance of interest and knowledge in the art, science and literature of the Defence Services.’

PROJECT STUDY ON SCENARIO BUILDING AND SCENARIO ANALYSIS OF THE CHINA-PAKISTAN ECONOMIC CORRIDOR (CPEC)

The study aimed to analyse the dynamics of CPEC, assess its prognosis and implications for India, and articulate India’s strategic response. The study was organised into four chapters and undertook an environmental scan containing an overview of the CPEC followed by the analysis of geographical, economic, political, security, and diplomatic factors Through the scenarios various possible futures were sketched out.
