The United Service Institution of India was founded in 1870 by a soldier scholar, Colonel (later Major General) Sir Charles MacGregor. The story of its growth is the story of the growth of the Indian Armed Forces. It was founded for ‘furtherance of interest and knowledge in the art, science and literature of the Defence Services.’

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN

UNITED SERVICE INSTITUTION OF INDIA (USI), NEW DELHI  AND

GANDHI MANDELA FOUNDATION (GMF), NEW DELHI

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between United Service Institution of India, New Delhi and Gandhi Mandela Foundation on 16 July 2024. The two institutions agreed to collaborate for research and analysis on various subjects, agreed mutually, with basic focus on: - International Relations and Geo-political and Geo-strategic aspects, National Security, and Promoting Peace (globally).
