The United Service Institution of India was founded in 1870 by a soldier scholar, Colonel (later Major General) Sir Charles MacGregor. The story of its growth is the story of the growth of the Indian Armed Forces. It was founded for ‘furtherance of interest and knowledge in the art, science and literature of the Defence Services.’
This was the seventh edition of Aavahan to guide the MSMEs into the defense Ecosystem. Aavahan 7 for StartUps and MSME was conducted on 27 Jun, 08 Jul, and 06 Aug 2024. The event was curated by Maj Gen (Dr) Pawan Anand, AVSM and Other subject matter experts were Vice Admiral A K Chawla PVSM, AVSM, NM ,VSM, Air Marshal Rajiv Sachdeva. AVSM (Retd), and Maj Gen Ranjit Ghosh. Three companies participated in the event viz Conveh Advanced System, Ansys, and C2C Advance Systems. Their advanced systems envisioned enormous interest from other attendees from three services.
