The United Service Institution of India was founded in 1870 by a soldier scholar, Colonel (later Major General) Sir Charles MacGregor. The story of its growth is the story of the growth of the Indian Armed Forces. It was founded for ‘furtherance of interest and knowledge in the art, science and literature of the Defence Services.’
The Cyber Swachta Abhiyaan was organized for the NSCS along with CANB on 29 Oct 2024 for the Principals, Teachers, and students of Kendriya Vidyalayas. The event was inaugurated by Sh TV Ravichandaran, DY NSA. Maj Gen Pawan Anand Dir CANB welcomed the gathering and outlined the context as a major national effort. The national security coordinator Lt Gen M U Nair along with Maj Gen Manjit Singh attended the event. A panel discussion was held with Dr. Pavan Duggal, Maj Vineet Kumar, Mr. Naveen Kumar Chaudhary, and M.r Amit Dubey.
