The United Service Institution of India was founded in 1870 by a soldier scholar, Colonel (later Major General) Sir Charles MacGregor. The story of its growth is the story of the growth of the Indian Armed Forces. It was founded for ‘furtherance of interest and knowledge in the art, science and literature of the Defence Services.’

An MoU was signed between USI of India and Common Service Centre(CSC)  e-Governance Services India Limited, A SPV incorporated as a Company under the Companies Act 1956 and promoted by Meity.  The CSC E-Governance Services   India Limited, responsible for driving India’s digital development, will connect citizens and technology, improve industry and security, fulfill the goal of a smart country, and lead the world via the Indian Model. A Seminar was held on“Building Resilience in an interconnected world
