The United Service Institution of India was founded in 1870 by a soldier scholar, Colonel (later Major General) Sir Charles MacGregor. The story of its growth is the story of the growth of the Indian Armed Forces. It was founded for ‘furtherance of interest and knowledge in the art, science and literature of the Defence Services.’

DELEGATION VISIT

 

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed on 20th of February 2024 between Centre for National Security Studies of MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru, and United Service Institution of India, New Delhi. The MOU focussed on collaboration between CNSS and USI for various research and project studies on the topics of mutual interest, and to jointly undertake projects on strategic studies of national / international importance.
